Most soundbars that support pairing with this speaker have a "REAR" label on one of the three volume controls. You can use this to turn the audio up on specifically the rear speakers if they are enabled in the listening mode you currently have enabled. If they seem really, really quiet, you may have to perform Sound Optimization (on most Sony soundbars) with them paired, even if you already did Sound Optimization once before. Unfortunately, paired with my HT-A7000 soundbar, even on maximum volume these speakers are very quiet, however, so if you've already maxed the volume and performed optimization, they may just be too quiet for your tastes. Sony optimizes them to just help fill the room; not for a nice surround experience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In the Sony onboard settings. These arnt meant to act like regular speakers. These are Dolby atmos, so they only play the background noises, the surround effect of something walking behind you or blowing up on the right side of you in a movie. They don’t play independently from the soundbar.
