The STR-AN1000 AV receiver can connect wirelessly to Sony's optional speakers including the wireless rear speakers SA-RS5 & SA-RS3S and optional wireless subwoofers SA-SW5 & SA-SW3. SA-SW5 & SA-SW3 will add deep bass sound and an optional rear speaker (SA-RS5 / SA-RS3S) offers an even more immersive cinematic experience. Additionally, two subwoofers of the same model may be connected simultaneously to the receiver. Up the intensity of your Home Theater System and soundbar. Please try again later.I would love to give you an answer about this question but I don't own that receiver if you Google the receiver it will tell you what subwoofers are compatible with it I do own sw5 subwoofer hooked up to the HT-A9 surround sound system and it is excellent thank you and have a great day
