“What is the write speed on this? I see the transfer speed and read speed is 70 right? What does the 1 vs the 3 on the cards mean? Just higher speed rating?”

If you shoot JPG images, these speed things don't matter much. If you shoot video in 720 or 1080p, you shouldn't have any issues with this card. U1 is slower, and U3 is fastest.
