  • Questiondoes this sonics speaker have a headset

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there, Thank you for your interest in the XB23! We apologize, this unit doesn't feature an AUDIO IN jack. It is a Bluetooth only model. If you want to play music, you can use your smartphone and connect it via Bluetooth connection. You might want to consider getting the XB43, XB12, XB22, XB32, or the XB41 which do have 3.5mm in, but connecting an audio cable to this jack turns off sound output from the connected BLUETOOTH device. Hope this helps. Regards, Jess

  • QuestionIf I get 2 will they pair with my Sony sound barI already have a subwoofer

    Asked by Rr.

    • Answer Hi Rr, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, you cannot use the XB23 as rear speakers for any of our soundbars. The SRS-XB23 doesn't support wireless network connection for wireless surround features. It is a Bluetooth in only model. If your soundbar supports Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for wireless music playback, yes, it will work, but all audio will then come out of the XB23. (Not as surround sound) If you have the Sony Z9F soundbar, you can add the Sony Z9R as rears for the bar only. If you have the Sony NT5, CT790 or CT800 soundbar, you can use the Sony SRS- ZR5, ZR7 plug in rear speakers. You can also use the portable Sony SRS-HG1 for those 3 bars. I hope this helps. Regards, Jess

  • QuestionMy wife & I both have iPhones, she listens to different music than I do. Currently we have one SRS-XB23 bluetooth speaker which we both really like. We are thinking of getting another one. Question..Will the bluetooth connection interfere on both iPhones?

    Asked by Mike.

    • Answer Hi Mike, Thank you for your interest in the SRS-XB23. Yes, the XB23 should work and sync perfectly with your iPhone when playing music. However, due to the characteristic of Bluetooth® and other wireless transmissions, there may be a delay in playback due to signal interference or a slight delay. You can improve playback quality by the following: • Change the position or location of your device. • Move as far away as possible from a microwave oven and other Bluetooth devices. • Turn off other wireless connections. These speakers are also compatible with Party Connect function. Hope this helps. Regards, Jess
