Yes you can play music while charging. I LOVE my Sony XB40, I got the the XB30 for a friend The XB31 & 41 are newest models. I charge mine while playing music all the time. The sound on this little speaker is impressive! It fills your house full of music, and yard for bbqs. Some even ask to turn the volume down since it has nice loud capability. HIghly recommend this speaker!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can still listen to music while the unit is charging, the loudness is slightly reduced but still very loud while streaming during charging. It has a batter light that indicates when it is charged.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi 123jrb, Charging will be completed in about 5 hours and the CHARGE indicator will turn off. The speaker that is in use can be charged if it is connected to an AC outlet via a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or if connected to a booted computer. In this case, it may take longer to charge the built-in battery compared to when the speaker is turned off depending on the conditions of use. Regards, Vincent
