Hi Brian, Good question! The Sony SRS-XB43 speaker is designed to deliver powerful and clear audio without the need for a separate bass module. It features an integrated bass-reflex design that enhances the low-frequency response, allowing it to deliver robust bass on its own. As a result, the SRS-XB43 does not support the connection of an external bass module. Hope this helps!
