A:AnswerHi Cyberdemon, Thanks for your inquiry. A single SRS-XB43 speaker produces stereo sound. The speaker also has a Stereo Pair function which allows you to connect another SRS-XB43 for more powerful sound. One speaker plays the sound on the right channel (right side), while the other speaker plays the sound on the left channel (left side) for stereo playback between the speakers.
The battery of the SRSXB43 is built-in, should you need a replacement battery please send the speaker to our service center.
I hope this helps!
Regards,
Carl
A:AnswerHi Sparkey, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, The SRS-XB43 is compatible with Samsung devices that support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). Once paired, you can play the audio from your Amazon music app using your Samsung mobile and output the audio to the SRSXB43 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I hope this helps!
Regards,
Carl
A:AnswerThis speaker is better it has same base speaker or bigger if i am not mistaken and the addition of tweeters. I would be weary of these speakers I bought one it lasted 1 month and best did not have anymore in stock and you only have 14 days to return for refund!
A:AnswerHi Ash, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. You can only play from one source at a time. When an audio cable is connected to the speaker’s AUDIO IN jack while the speaker and the BLUETOOTH device have been connected via BLUETOOTH connection, sound from the BLUETOOTH device is not output from the speaker (the hands-free function is available). To listen to music from the BLUETOOTH device, disconnect the audio cable from the speaker’s AUDIO IN jack. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerHi Janelle, Thank you for your inquiry. You can use the built-in microphone to enjoy hands-free calls with a Bluetooth mobile phone that supports the BLUETOOTH profile HFP (Hands-free Profile) or HSP (Headset Profile) via Bluetooth connection. You can also use the mic for voice assistant apps like Google and Siri. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerHi Brettanica, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can either connect your CD player to this speaker via Bluetooth or AUDIO IN jack (stereo mini-jack / 3.5mm). -Sam
A:AnswerHi TurboJobo, Thank you for your interest in the XB43.
No, it will not change volume level when on battery or power cable.
However, when the built-in battery runs very low the XB43 will reduce the volume output to protect the units components. This is not a malfunction, and normal volume levels will resume once recharged.
We recommend charging the unit using the supplied AC adaptor to the DC IN 5V port on the speaker and an AC outlet. However if you have a power bank capable of outputting at the required level it will charge the speaker.
Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerHi Timothy, Thank you for your interest in the SRSXB43. Unfortunately, this unit cannot be paired with the SRSXB41. The XB43 still has a Party Connect function that is capable of connecting to these compatible models: SRS-XB43, SRS-XB33, SRS-XB23. And you can pair it with up to 100 devices in total. IF you do pick up more, make sure you use the Sony Music Center App so you can control them properly. -Sam
A:AnswerYes I have managed to pair two speakers for sound on one tv. I believe we used the Sony Music Center app to pair the speakers. I do think we had to re-pair the speakers each time we turned the tv on though so it wasn’t super convenient.
A:AnswerHi Brian, Good question! The Sony SRS-XB43 speaker is designed to deliver powerful and clear audio without the need for a separate bass module. It features an integrated bass-reflex design that enhances the low-frequency response, allowing it to deliver robust bass on its own. As a result, the SRS-XB43 does not support the connection of an external bass module. Hope this helps!
The XB43 is one of our absolute best sounding portable speakers due to the X-balance design and tweeters now housed in this unit. We also kept it waterproof and dustproof so you can take it with you wherever you go! To make sure you are getting the most out of your new purchase, please make sure to download the Sony Music Center App. There you will find all new ways to control the sound and performance of your speaker.
