Hi ANON, Thanks for your inquiry! Unfortunately, no. The USB and USB type C port are not compatible with music playback. The USB port supplies power to the USB device, such as a smartphone or iPhone, connected by a USB cable (commercially available) for battery charging. And the USB type-C port is for charging the speaker when connected to an AC outlet via the supplied AC adaptor. You can listen to music by connecting this speaker to your device via Bluetooth connection or by connecting a device to the AUDIO IN jack with an audio cable (commercially available).
