Hello. As far as I know you have to do updates through the iPhone or Android app called "Music Center", which get at the app store for free.

Bluetooth is 5.0 version. USB yes. Power is DC 5V.  No W listed. There is a URL to scan for software.

Hi CTEagle91, Thanks for your inquiry! You can pair this speaker to a computer via Bluetooth but you cannot plug it into a computer using USB connection. Please refer to the link below on how to pair this speaker to a computer (Windows or Mac).

You can only use the USB  port of the speaker to charge a USB device, such as a smartphone or iPhone. Even if the speaker is not connected to an AC outlet, its built-in battery can supply power to a USB device.
