“Can the SRSXB 43 be turned on and off remotely? I’d like to put the speaker higher on the shelf in an unreachable place, but I’d like to be able to turn it on and off without having to get a ladder every time.”

Yes, the speaker can be turned on remotely, however it needs to be plugged in to an a/c power outlet and the Bluetooth standby feature must be activated in the app

Yes, the XB43 Speakers can be remotely turned off through the Sony Music Center app. Unfortunately the XB43 cannot be remotely powered on. Also, the XB43 has an Auto power off (Auto Standby) function which turns the speaker off after 15 mins of inactivity however, you will still need to press the power button again to turn on the device.
