“I have a set of JBL 2800 and a set of JBL 2500 they are 8 ohm speakers. Can I hook both sets up to this and listen to them at the same time without damaging.”

Hi Mavo, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can connect speakers that have an impedance rating of 6-16 ohms. And yes, you can connect up to 4 speakers to this receiver. Regards, Sam

You can connect up to two set of speakers to this receiver. It has two sets speaker outputs A and B. The output can be to A or B or A and B. It also has a mode to turn both off, although I cannot think of a reason to select that. It has a rang of speaker impedances that it is compatible with, 8 ohm is in the range.
