Hi Chris, Thank you so much for your inquiry. We're sorry, but this model doesn’t have the option to connect a sub using the outputs on the back. It is primarily designed as a 2.0 channel stereo receiver, meaning it supports only two main speakers and does not include a specific output for a subwoofer. However, the models STR-DH590 and STR-DH790 offers the option to connect a Subwoofer using the SUB OUT on the back. Best regards, - Stephanie
