If you're going to purchase speaker wires for this receiver, please take note of the following: Speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver Strip the jacket to 10 mm (13/32 in) at each end of the speaker cables, and then tightly twist the speaker wire strands and insert the stripped ends of the cables into the terminals. Whether you choose to enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input, or stream music from your digital music collection, you’ve found a perfect match. Don’t forget the receiver’s A=B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time.
