• This is a 100 Watt amplifier/Reciever. I would say you would want a speaker capable of handling at least a 100 Watts. I connected mine to 2 outdoor speakers that will take 100 Watts peak power, you just have to know your speaker limits, (as in distortion).

• Hi there, thank you for your interest in the STRDH190 receiver! You only need speakers with 100W output power per channel and impedance rating of 6 to 16 ohms to connect to this receiver. Hope this helps! -Sam
