There actually isn't a 4/8 impedance, as the speakers are rated either 4 ohm or 8 ohm; however, this is only really shorthand for showing how low a speaker dips at peak because a 4 ohm speaker is actually rarely at 4 ohm while playing. I'll assume the speakers about which you are asking are rated 4 ohm, so to answer your question, if you are only using two speakers than you are going to be fine. This amplifier is capable of running 4 speakers at once A+B, so 4 8 ohm speakers would cause a 4 ohm load. That is why they don't rate this amp for 4 ohm speakers because if someone were to run 4 4 ohm speakers synchronously it would effectively be a 2 ohm load which would likely cause the unit problems. If you are only running two 4 ohm speakers, you will be fine. Hope this helps.

When matching speakers and Audio/Video (A/V) receivers, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver. -Sam
