“Where is the serial number on the Sony STRDH 190? Either on the receiver or the box it came in. Is it the SKU, UC2, POS, SO or something else? Thanks. Also how can I turn off the standby light that keeps wasting energy. Thank you.”

Hi Ronba, The serial number of the STRDH190 should start with S0 then followed by a dash (-) then a 7 digit number. With regards to the Standby light, it cannot be turned off unless the unit is unplugged from the wall outlet. For additional information, the power consumption of the AV receiver when on standby is only 0.3w. Hope this helps! Regards, Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The serial # label is by the power cord coming from the receiver(bottom right corner)by the two shiney phillip head screws. The power down light is like the TV's, blue ray and they are bigger than what these have. I'm pretty sure going greener would be unplugging. I hope I was able to help
