“Can this be added to an Onkyo TX NR 646 to further power Zone 2? Manual states only 1 set of speakers can be linked but I need a total of 6 speakers.”

Hi tuna, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. There is no option to add another amplifier to this receiver. You can connect up to 2 sets of left and right speakers for a total of 4 speakers to this receiver. Hope this helps! -Sam
