I just purchased this receiver and whenever I play it with the sound too loud (and it's not too loud), the receiver automatically shuts down with the receiver saying protection before it shuts down. I don't know why it is doing this. Any answers? null

I am experiencing the same issue - “PROTECT” AND AUTO SHUTDOWN as less than a quarter of the volume capacity.  Sounds like a defect.  I will be returning my unit.
