• The receiver doesn’t power your sub, it just send the audio to it. You will need a sub with an amplifier for this receiver.

• Hi SithTRR, No, you can only hook up 1 subwoofer to the AV receiver, since the speaker pattern can only go up to 5.1 channel. Hope this helps. - Sam
