A:AnswerBest unit at this price point and has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Would love to have the new Panasonic unit, but it was $500, way out of my price league at this time.
A:AnswerHi Phil, No, this Blu-ray player doesn't have a radio receiver on it. For more details about this unit, please refer to this link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/blu-ray-disc-players/ubp-x700/specifications Regards, Zac
A:AnswerThanks for the replies. What about this Sony video?

She doesn’t say anything about connecting the player to tv through hdmi, does she? I’m not sure if it’s possible but seems like it is.
A:AnswerTry making sure you have a premium high speed HDMI older spec cables will cause that type of issue you can pick them up cheap and that should solve your problem
A:AnswerHi Joey, try to by-pass the connection. We highly suggest connecting the BluRay player directly to your TV to isolate this issue. Let us know about the results, reach us at socialsupport@am.sony.com. Please also include your contact and product information. Thanks! ^Ron
A:AnswerIf I recall, I had to enable Dolby Vision as part of setting the unit up. Thereafter, it recognizes both HDR10 and Dolby Vision discs and automatically decodes them appropriately.
A:AnswerYou will need UHD movies as ATMOS is rarely pressed on Blu-Ray discs. Also, to get ATMOS, you will need a sound system that supports it. The TV has nothing to do with it.
A:AnswerThe HP Pavillion 2009m Monitor would probably not be a good match. First, it has no HDMI inputs, only VGA and DVI-D. I believe you can get an HDMI-DVI adapter but then you're still stuck with the resolution of the monitor, which is 1600 x 900. That is adequate for DVD, but doesn't do Blu-ray resolution of 1920 x 1080 much less 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160. I'm sure the player can "downres" the picture to lower resolutions, but 1600 x 900 isn't a standard HD resolution and so might not be supported. It might "downres" to 1280 x 720 (aka "720p") but then the display would have to interpolate that up to 1600 x 900 and that would introduce a lot of video noise.
A:AnswerHi digitizer75, if you want to output HDR playback, make sure that the TV also supports HDR signal. Then, go to [Screen Settings] > [HDR Output] > [Auto] to output HDR signal depending on
contents and HDMI-SINK capability. Conversion function is applied when content is HDR and HDMI-SINK does not support HDR. To know more about the conversion function, please refer to pg.18 of the link below. When it comes to Dolby Atmos, you can use the built-in streaming apps of the BluRay player to play a content that has Dolby Atmos. Regards, ^Ron
