“I got this for Christmas to replace an old DVD player and stream Netflix etc. However, I'm pairing it with a 2003 Hitachi plasma TV that doesn't have an HDMI input. Has anyone successfully used an HDMI to DVI converter to hook this player up?”

• DVI does not carry sound. A DVI to HDMI adaptor would give you picture only with NO sound. would need to hook up the player to a separate sound source with a second cable
