“I saw on the box that this a 4K UHD "Upscale" unit. What is the difference between that and true 4K UHD?”

• Truthfully, I have no clue. We are not "techy" people at all. We just wanted something to play DVD's & Blu-Ray DVD's from the library. My son-in-law us a coder and has a computing engineering degree. He and my daughter hooked it up. It wasn't too complicated. I was a little nervous because our TV is a different brand and is over 10 years old but it seems to work well. Our other DVD player was over 15 years old. I can't tell that much difference in the picture. The sound quality is a little better. Sorry I can't be more help. KH

• Well this unit takes your regular bluray movies and play them in almost 4k quality. It's not true 4k but the picture quality is still great.
