• If you had a space somewhere maybe you should mounted vertically or horizontal. I keep mines horizontal on the floor.

• I don't see any reason why the streaming would be effected, but you may have issues playing a DVD. You might want to test playing a DVD in the position you want it to be before mounting it permanently.
