• Bluray players need a connection to an hdmi port.

• You have to hook up an HDMI cable out to your TV make sure it handles 18 GB per second or you will not get a picture on the screen maybe but this is an excellent 4K player I have the version that doesn't have Dolby vision one good thing about it that I like about this is that it probably has Bluetooth.
