No, neither eARC or ARC is supported. There shouldn't be a need to passthrough audio via the player. Just hook up the player to any HDMI port on the TV, and hook up the soundbar to the eARC or ARC port on the TV. This set up will pass all audio to the soundbar regardless of what input your using.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have it working through a Sony sound bar with no problem. The sound bar or DVD player can still work independently (either can be off) hooked up in the ARC/E-ARC configuration.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Limited to TV (only 1 @ eARC = UBP > TV > eArc to soundbar) (1) best option is using an empty HDMI for UBP (2) UBP > Soundbar @ Bluetooth -or- 2 HDMI (or HDMI splitter @ tv eARC) (3) TV Bluetooth to soundbar is easiest (but not hardwired) ____ If soundbar has 2 INPUT HDMI (TV > soundbar = then UBP > soundbar) UBP has a 2nd "audio" output HDMI Also 100% eARC (UBP > soundbar > eARC to TV) ____ Another option is Bluetooth (while using UBP = Keeping TV —main device — eARC to soundbar) NOTE: A/V sync lag adjustments
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I only know that I have mine hooked to my AV Receiver and the movies will passthrough but the built in Netflix and the other built in apps on the Blu ray do not pass through.
