Hi Essy, Yes, the ULT FIELD 1 features an Auto Standby function that automatically turns the speaker off after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. This occurs if there is no operation on the speaker or no audio signal being received from your connected Bluetooth device. You can easily enable or disable this feature through the Sony | Music Center app or by holding the "Play/Call" and "Volume –" buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Thanks for choosing Sony.
