The Sony SRS-ULT1000 allows you to connect one wired microphone and one wireless microphone simultaneously, making it ideal for duets or karaoke sessions. When you pair two SRS-ULT1000 speakers using Stereo or Party mode, the microphone audio will only be heard from the speaker to which the microphone is connected. This is because the Stereo Pair function is designed primarily to split music (such as Bluetooth audio) into left and right channels for an immersive stereo experience. The microphone input is not mixed into the stereo signal and is output solely from the primary speaker where the mic is plugged in. Nonetheless, both speakers work together to deliver a much bigger, more immersive sound, perfect for parties and events. It is a single, powerful unit designed to deliver mono sound with 360° Party Sound and massive bass to fill an entire room or large outdoor space. However, you can create a true stereo pair by wirelessly connecting a second ULT TOWER 10 speaker. Using the Stereo Pair function, one speaker handles the Left channel and the other handles the Right channel, which provides a rich, immersive stereo experience. So, while a single unit excels at all-encompassing, high-volume party sound, true Left/Right stereo playback is achieved by linking two of them together.
