Hi Paris, The Sony IER-EX15C headphones are not waterproof and do not carry an IP (Ingress Protection) rating for water or sweat resistance. Exposure to water or heavy moisture could damage the internal components or the USB-C connection. If you are looking for a model that can handle water, we recommend the Sony WI-C100 or the Sony WF-C510. The WI-C100 features an IPX4 water-resistant design, making it a great choice for workouts or outdoor use where you might encounter sweat or light rain. For a more traditional earbud style, the WF-C510 also offers an IPX4 rating, providing protection against splashes from any direction. We really appreciate your interest in Sony products! Regards, Dominick
