• You should check Youtube videos (use search terms like "Sony turntable unboxing") and you'll get to actually see people installing the platter and showing how the belt goes on. It's pretty simple but the videos are better than the manual that comes with it.

• Just slip the belt over the metal spindle thats located under the platter..pull belt slightly and rest belt on the round spindle..usually gold or silver in color ..once on this spindle it will spin..good luck
