“Having trouble hooking up to speakers We have hooked the turntable up to Bose Companion 2 speakers and am not getting sound. There is a faint sound coming from the player but nothing from the speaker. Everything seems to be in the right location.”

The turntable only has a line-level output. It is not amplified. You will either need to connect the usb output to you computer or connect the audio cables to an amplifier/receiver that then transfers the sound to your speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a switch on the back of the turntable near the built in RCA analog cable. It will be PHONO and LINE. Try toggling this switch to see if you can get the sound to output. It may be that the speakers have an amplifier, or dont and this will toggle the internal equilizer function on an off.
