• No. You can’t connect the Sony PS-LX300USB turntable to your TV. Please note, that the Sony turntable’s operating instructions indicate on page 7 that this unit’s RCA output jack must be connected to an RCA input of “your stereo system amplifier.” Good Luck.

• Yes, if your TV has a spare RCA L/R audio input then you should be able to connect the PS-LX300USB turntable directly to it as it doesn't need a dedicated phono input - it has a switchable line/phono output.
