This turntable does not play 16 or 78 rpm records. The stylus is diamond and is not compatible with steel records. You would need to find a vintage turntable for that.

This turntable plays 33 1/3 and 45 r/min, 2 speed only. The stylus is compatible with vinyl recordings only. You may check this specific model Sony PS-HX500.
