“I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift, he read the instructions, tried to hook up to our Sony TV and it didn't work produce any sound. Is there a way to do this without having to buy additional speakers, maybe a connection cord that will work?”

Hi Wendy1978, this is not compatible with TVs. You need to buy speakers that are compatible with this unit. You may refer to the manual for more information about connecting this unit to speakers other devices. Thanks! ^Ron
