• Hi PD, Thanks for your inquiry. The Sony MHCV71 is good for creating A Party Atmosphere (Dj Effect) allowing you to spin your own tracks and keep the party going. Fun and intuitive gesture control lets you take charge of all your party features, including DJ effects, sampler, and Karaoke features. They also reinforce bass sound and create more powerful sound (MEGA BASS). You can Press MEGA BASS repeatedly to select “BASS ON”. The MEGA BASS indicator lights up. NOTE: When the audio source does not contain much bass sound, the bass sound may not be audible. Regards, Jess
