Hi Manny, What a great question. The MHCV71 is compatible with: XB60, XB90, XB72, XB21, XB22, XB31, XB32, XB41, XB12, MHC-V90, MHC, V77, MHC-V71, and the MHC-V21. You can pair this speaker to a device that supports A2DP connection. Happy shopping & thanks for your interest in Sony! Regards, David

Yes, as far as which Bluetooth I haven’t tried. Meaning, most of my connections TV , Mic and phones were fairly new. For the short time I had mine.
