“Is it rechargeable and is it waterproof or water resistant?”

• No it's not rechargeable. It needs to be plugged in to a standard 120 volt outlet. I'd keep it away from water bud.

• Hi Derek, Thank you for your interest in Sony and the MHCV71! Unfortunately, this unit cannot be charged, it needs to be plugged into a wall outlet to power the unit. The speaker is also not waterproof or water resistant. Hope this helps! David
