Hi Isbely, That is a great question. The V71 is not rechargeable. You need to connect it to a power outlet for it to work. This means you won't have to worry about trying to power those massive speakers at full volume all night on a battery. If you need battery power try our XB90 or XB60 which can definitely get the job done. Thanks. ~Earl

Its a really tall, about 3 feet tall. So it plugs into an outlet. Its literally a complete stereo system.
