“Does the battery grip impact the weather sealing on the A7IV? There's a gap between the grip and the camera & it seems like water can make its way into the original battery compartment. Is this weatherproof? Can camera still be used in inclement weather?”

Hi KAP, Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The ILCE7M4 camera by itself has weatherproofing. However, when used with the VGC4EM battery grip, we suggest not to use it on humid or inclement weather and also dusty environment as the gap may allow moisture or dust to get inside the camera.
