I've experienced zero problems connecting the player via Bluetooth to any of my sound bars, headphones or car stereo. The player is actually fantastic, and I'm very happy with the purchase.

At the same time I purchased a JBL Portable Bluetooth speaker, & Sony Bluetooth Headphones. Everything connected wirelessly with no problems. I also have a Sony am/fm cd player I purchased a year ago, that also connected wirelessly with the mp3 player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tl;Dr: yes Yes it will work with Bluetooth headphones and speakers. But funnily enough it won't connect to my Honda fit's system. All others should work fine. Other than that you also get additional settings to play around with such as different codecs like aptx (both standard and HD) and prioritizing connection strength or audio quality. But it'll work just fine in it's default settings if you don't wanna play around with it in which case it'll choose the appropriate codecs for your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
