They're pretty good with the noise cancelling!. the various tips will allow you to get a good earplug like seal which does a lot for reducing noise anyway, but the noise cancelling really is pretty great for these little buds. Click the left bud button to allow ambient noise in if you need to hear talking around you , click it again to turn it off (with it off the world is still decently muffled). NOT GOOD for watching videos, so it's a good choice for construction IMO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These do NOT block noise at all. Connection is unstable and they only last for about an hour before needing to be recharged. Style is great, but if they don't cancel noise and lose connection constantly why bother? I bought the $300 Bose before this but the neck band was awkward an uncomfortable for me, but they worked great and battery lasted for hours. My coworkers could be right next to me talking away and I couldn't hear a word lol. I will be returning my Sony today after work as they don't do what they are supposed to. These Sony are a waste of money don't bother.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Excellent noise cancelling. I was my car with the radio on full blast and could only hear the headphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are terrible for NC. I've had these for a week and it doesn't block any noise. I don't have superman hearing but I can hear it all even with the active noise cancelling on. it's no different when it's on or off. Recommend you consider bose qc20. it's $50 more but NC works great as long as you don't mind the wires and the bulky power block.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Inquisitive, it may help to reduce the noise, noise canceling feature of the headphones usually work with low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. If the noise canceling is not sufficient enough, you may check the link below: http://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000x/v1/en/contents/TP0001513207.html Thanks, _Bob
