Hi Nukem, Thank you for purchasing the WF-XB700 Truly Wireless Extra Bass Headphones. We are sorry to hear that you're having the same issue with the second unit you've purchased. This is definitely not the experience we'd like you to have. Allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. Unfortunately, if you have two pairs of WFXB700, we cannot exchange the earbuds and use it with the other pair. We'd also like to verify, does the indicators light flashes when the earbuds are removed from the charging case? In the meantime, please try to reset and initialize the headphones. To Reset, please follow these steps. Press and hold the button on the left unit for about 20 seconds. Release your finger when the indicator (red) turns off after flashing. Then press and hold the button on the right unit for about 20 seconds. Button on the right unit Release your finger when the indicator (red) turns off after flashing. Initialize the headphones to restore the factory settings: Press and hold the buttons on both the left and right units for about 15 seconds. Release your fingers within 5 seconds after the indicators (red) start flashing. Note: Check that the indicators (red) on both the left and right units light up before you hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both units. Press the buttons on both the left and right units within 10 seconds after the indicators (red) light up. After a few seconds, the indicators (blue) flash 4 times, and the initializing is complete. If you are not sure if the initialization process has completed, wait a few minutes and start over from step 1. Do not put the headset back in the charging case before the initialization process is complete.
