That is my current setup and mine works fine other than occasionally needing to pair the phones with the TV again to get them to connect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as the TV has Bluetooth capabilities, you can pair the headphones to it. Not all of Samsung's TVs have Bluetooth. Not sure what to tell you about what the Geek Squad guys told you other than that they may have looked up your TV model and learned that it didn't have Bluetooth.
