Sony is a Japanese company and they contract everywhere to have their products manufactured. These are not made in the US.

Thank you for your inquiry, No, you didn't order an international version. Basically, Models purchased in the US can be made from different parts of the world, And so, In relation to your question, if it is indicated that it was made in Malaysia, but you purchase it from US, then that is 100% a US version.
