“I just purchased these and the call quality is not good. People say they can't hear me. and I can barely hear them. other than that the sound and noise cancelling work great once I get use to the controls. Is there something I'm missing?”

No, mine did the same thing. Sony focused everything on the speaker sound so their mic is sub par.
