QuestionI have a parent that is hard of hearing and plays the television very loud. He watches on a Smart TV, so I assume that he can use this headset to connect to the TV via Bluetooth. Can he also pair a second Bluetooth device (Android phone) at the same time?

- Answer Hi Flash411, thanks for your inquiry. Yes, these headphones can be connected to an A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) capable Smart TV via Bluetooth. Note: Some TVs will support Bluetooth for headphones and some will not. This entirely depends on the specific model you use. If your Smart TV doesn’t support Bluetooth for headphones but has Headphone audio out (3.5mm/Aux) port then you can utilize the headphones wired or purchase a 3.5mm-to-Bluetooth adapter to make it functional. When the headset is connected to an AC outlet or computer, all operations such as turning on the headset, registering or connecting to Bluetooth devices, and music playback cannot be performed. -Ralph

QuestionI have the Sony XB950BT and love how loud they are but the frame broke. I'm considering the WH-1000XM4, but am hesitant as I bought the WH-CH710N and returned them as they were not as loud. Anyone know if the XM4 are loud in comparison to the XB950BT?

- Answer Well done, that's exactly why I don't like buying the buds. To date I believe they're not replaceable and over the couple of years we use them they eventually just die on us. Can you imagine how many earbuds are floating around in the ocean?! But I did break down and I have a pair now if you're talking about over the ears, I have quite comfort 35 originals which are still going very very strong! I can't tell they've aged, must be the Botox injections I give them...

- Answer I understand we can buy new parts to our headsets so I would look to see which parts are replaceable because if you're going to work in a Dusty environment you are definitely going to want to replace those earmuffs at some point and yes the dust will get into those small crevices and holes and not make you happy over time however I just want to make sure you're not trying to use these to protect your ears you're just trying to use them to enjoy some light work in the garage. Otherwise you definitely need to bite on real ear plug. Protection. Can you imagine turning the sound up on your headset to overcome the whizzing sounds of the electric saws? Please don't do that to yourself. And here's one good reason, decreased hearing from sound trauma or any other reason, is associated with the development of Alzheimer's. Let's not go there.
