“I got the wh-l600 for Christmas. I connected tv hdmi-arc with hdmi cable with other end to controller. Controller switch set to hdmi. I do not get any sound via headphones. I have hdmi1 connected to Denon receiver with 3 Martin speakers.”

I experienced the same. Poured over internet and Sony TV settings, was unable to resolve using the hdmi arc. Gave up and switched to the alternate 3.5 mm audio cable option. Sound quality is great, no loss I am aware off.

Got it working. I switched to the optical port with digital cable and it still didnt work. But then turned off use of external speakers from denon to use internal tv speakers- then audio sound came through headset.
