Are these noise cancelling headphones null

Not noise cancelling. These are on-ear headphones, so that's not an option.

They fit snuggly enough that I don't hear outside noise - but I use them indoors. The volume and clarity of sound are very good.

No, they are on-ear which means they don’t have noise-cancelling. You might try the wh-xb900n they have both extra bass and noise-canceling they have an over-ear style
