If the TV has bluetooth, you shouldn't have an issue connecting these to a TV. If the TV doesn't have bluetooth, you can get a transmitter that plugs in through the optical, headphone jack, or RCA on the TV. Assuming you're looking for a pair of headphones specifically for listening to a TV, I'd suggest a pair of Sennheiser's designed for that. They come from with a base station that plugs into the same jacks and sends a wireless signal to the headphones. The sound quality is great and it provides a more stable connection than bluetooth for around the same price as these.
