“Two quick questions. I've heard the cups on the XM5s are bigger but the depth is not. Would XM4s be better for big ears? Also, I am confused by reviews regarding ambient sound. If i want complete ANC with no ambient sound, can I set them just for that”

The XM5 earcups are not as deep but my ears do not touch the drivers at all. As far as anc and ancient mode, there is a button on the left earcup that lets you toggle between the two. Both work really well.

The shape of the earcup is longer compared to the M4s. The result is a sung fit with less pressure on the ears. We do apologize for the confusion. As far as noise cancelling, yes, you can pick either noise canceling function or ambient sound mode. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried Apple’s AirPods Max? Anyway both have the same ear cups in my opinion. I have big ears too and they fit perfectly. You can barely hear loud noises, for music they are beyond perfect.
