My guess is that this is an extraneous frequency being injected & amplified. Yes annoying, but in my experience, it only happens infrequently, & only when you are going to start using them. In your case I'd check the cables, make sure all connections are good. A bad connection, plug, or cable can cause what you are experiencing. If after replacing the cables the issue persists, make sure the battery has been well charged. Otherwise it could just be a faulty set you got.
